Live Music

My Instruments

I play:

My Pedalboard

I play traditional folk music primarily, so my pedalboard reflects this.

I'll try my hardest not to nerd out over this but I'm dead chuffed with it. The bottom row is the regular guitar signal, with the top row coming from a Submarine Pickup. The Behringer pedals in the bottom left are pretty self explanatory, but front and center is my Digitech Mosaic. I love this pedal, and the sound you get out of it is just awesome, it emulates a 12-string guitar sound meaning you get this full rich shimmery guitar sound. This sound, coupled with my TC-Electronic Sub'N'Up (which drops the lowest string down an octave) means I can make this massive sound from my guitar.

Bands

Jigsmith Ceilidh Band

I used to "dep" for Jigsmith Ceilidh Band on guitar. I really enjoyed the time I spent with them, but alas, my degree brought me over a hundered miles away from them to the tropics of Aberystwyth.

Twmpath Aberystwyth

I now play with Twmpath Aberystwyth, something which I enjoy thoroughly.

Theatre Work

In February 2025, I played second guitar for Made In Dagenham. This was proper good fun, it was my first musical where I wasn't on tech, which made for a weird change. I really enjoyed it though, and am interested in doing more of it.
